About Family Fun Week
Every year thousands of local area school children and their families look forward to enjoying a break from their studies and spend some quality time together during February vacation. This year we invite you to visit Boston's waterfront for hundreds of free and low cost activities to keep young explorers and adventurers learning and entertained.
We've put together a $5,000 educational scholarship by way of a coloring contest to make your family's time on the waterfront even more rewarding. So come and enjoy world class attractions at Boston's Children's Museum, the New England Aquarium, and the Museum of Science Boston. Then stay for some great food, shopping, and fun at over 300 local businesses - many of whom are offering great savings and specials for Family Fun Week. Just look for our window decals or return to this site for more info.
$5000 Scholarship Coloring Contest (Winner Update Below)
Starting on February 14, 2014, visit any of our participating partners to pick up the official Winter on the Waterfront "Family Fun Week" coloring materials generously underwritten by the Langham Hotel Boston and upload your child's finished artwork to Twitter and Instagram to enter the drawing for our $5000 scholarship.
2. Have your child express themselves fully and color in the sheet using our materials. Thinking and coloring outside of the "box" is acceptable and encouraged.
3. Once your child has completed their coloring masterpiece, snap a photo of the completed work and upload the entry to Instagram or Twitter with our hashtag: #WOTWBos. You may enter more than once, but each entry must be a different completed work. Your child must be under the age of 18 years old to qualify for the savings bond.
Additionally, remember to bring your ticket stubs from any local museums to enjoy some additional savings and offers.
Drawing for the Family Fun Week Coloring contest will be done on March 3, 2014 (we've added an extra 2 days to enter) and the winner will be notified via Twitter or Instagram. Good luck!
